Restaurant Aucoin de Larue
This place was clearly a local place as everyone know each other. But it was fantastic. I have pepperoni pizza which was just about the best pizza I've ever had. My boyfriend had the poutines which he thought was great! The place is really nice very well decorated and very very clean. We are from the US so we don't come by for this area very often but I would highly highly recommend this to anyone in the area! It was awesome!!

We normally order pizza delivery from here. Although they are good, they are not exceptional, thus not justifying the price which is salty. We went for burgers and they are pretty good. The restaurant is a bit confusing regarding interior. Staff is very courteous.

Stopped on the way to Tadoussac. We ordered lasagna and poutine. Found both to be pretty average. Good ambience and food that's alright.

We came for late dinner 30 minutes before closing, they were more than glad to receive us. Great experience, the restaurant has nice details and decorations. We ordered snails (escargots), and fondue parmesan as appetizers. We chose the sea food pizza and we were very pleased with our choice. The flavour was like a Coquille St-Jacques. Although it's not on the menu, they do have a couple of beers available. Will definitely come back to taste something else on the menu.

Maybe this would be outside of the usual areas for tourists to stop by but it was very sweet of our waitress who didn't speak English well to put up with us not understanding any French, and patiently trying her best to explain many words on the menu for us. The service was excellent despite how busy it was, and the food we ordered was very good.

I definitely recommend this place. Warm welcome. Nice waitress. And food was great for a small price. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food was great. I had the daily lunch with some cream broccoli soup, smoked meat plate (my first... And loved it!) And a rice pudding as desert. Together with some coffee it was 14$. What more can you ask? If you're spending some time near the Montmorancy falls... Come over here and get some lunch!

Checked this place out after a great visit at Montmorency Falls. Turns out that the great reviews that led us here might not have done the restaurant justice. The pizza we ordered was actually loaded with toppings and our Smoked Meat Poutine was delicious!! The wait staff was very good with us and the other patrons as well. We’d have no hesitation to return. If you’re in the area and like pizza this is definitely a great spot to try!

Restaurant Aucoin de Larue
We saw this place as we were driving on our way to another restaurant and on a whim decided to stop in and try it.We are sure glad we did! The food was great, especially the pizza; the perfect mix of fresh ingredients with a home-made style that screams authentic Quebecois cuisine. In addition, the service was fantastic. 10/10 would visit again.
